Blue Archive had a planned release on the 24th of June, 2025, on Steam. The developers sent a message to fans explaining that they will postpone the release of Blue Archive. But why did the Blue Archive Steam release get delayed? We’re here to explain what’s going on.
Official Statement
The developers issued an official statement on X explaining the reason for the postponed launch.
“We regret to inform you that the release of the STEAM client, originally scheduled for Tuesday, June 24, has been unavoidable delayed due to a delay in the platform review process.”
“All of our team members are working diligently to prepare the STEAM client so that we can launch it as soon as possible.”
What Does This Mean?
Based on the statement, it’s likely that the game wasn’t ready to release on PC. This can be for a variety of reasons, such as bugs and glitches. If Steam deems a game as not being ready to release, developers must postpone the launch and fix it. Which makes sense!
When Will The Game Release?
Although the developers have not explained when the game will launch, Blue Archive is available to play on the App Store and on Google Play. Upset fans can still play on mobile devices until it comes back.
