Apple Arcade is dropping some hot new releases this February 2024! Two new games are stealing the spotlight this week, BEAST: Bio Exo Arena Suit Team and Words In Progress. We already gave you the scoop on the first one, so be sure to check it out!
Dutch developer Gamious is shaking Apple Arcade up with their game Words in Progress. Jos Bouman, the Creative Director of Gamious, highlighted their mission to avoid annoying ads and in-app purchases that mess with the gaming experience. So, they are keeping things quite premium for Apple Arcade users.
What’s Words In Progress?
After being a work in progress for quite some time, Words In Progress finally drops as an Apple Arcade exclusive. The game challenges you to make the longest words using seven-letter tiles. Mix ’em, match ’em, and ta-da, a new space opens up, bringing in another letter and letting you rack up your scores.
There are multiple modes in the game. Challenge your buddies to see who can snag the highest score from a pile of 40 letters. Going solo? Dive into the Endless mode, where the goal is to hang in there as the letter pile grows. On the flip side, the Daily Challenge lets you play with words for each of the 10 languages!
Will You Try It Out?
Words in Progress lets you have laid-back and easy-to-pick-up fun! It’s a bit of a gamble, waiting for the right letters. It has a fun and quirky vibe to it with colourful tiles and letters.
