Last week we revealed that Xcom 2 Collection was heading to mobile at the start of next month. Well, we’ve got more good news today. You can now pre-order the game from the App Store. That’s pretty exciting, right?
Buying the game doesn’t just get you the base Xcom 2: War of the Chosen game, though. You’ll also get the Alien Hunters, Shen’s Last Gift, Anarchy’s Children and Resistance Warrior DLC packs. That’s a lot of game.
If you’ve not heard of Xcom 2, it’s a brilliant turn-based strategy game that sees you trying to overthrow the aliens that have taken over the planet. Alongside the tactical battles, there’s strategic considerations too as you plot your route to victory.
You can get a feel for the game by checking out the mobile announcement trailer we’ve embedded below. It’s fun to watch even if you love Xcom, so give your eyes a special treat.
Xcom 2 Collection has been tweaked and poked to work perfectly in the palm of your hand. You’re going to need a powerful iOS device to run it, though. You’ll need an iPhone 7 Plus, 8 Plus, or anything from the iPhone X onwards. All iPad Pros released since 2017 will run it, as will any iPad released since 2019.
